Lava Cakes: Better than homemade recipe

Submitted by JDiazAsper on 10/17/2010 – 2:56 pm3 Comments

I have been at Blogalicious and Blog World Expo for the last two weekends so my #SabrosoSaturday (tasty saturdays) have been been tasty but have involved zero cooking. I didn’t want to skip another Saturday so I went for featuring the best food find on my trip.

So not exactly a recipe, but I think the #LavaCakes (yes, they have their own hashtag) from Dominos are maybe even better than homemade and way less work if you are craving something chocolatey, goey and just so good! Drizzle a little chocolate sauce on top and it could pass for a fancy restaurant’s dessert. I heard folks are ordering them sent to there kid’s school for birthday parties. Or delivered to soccer fields for team snacks. Love that!

Here is @Anarc, @Ramon_DeLeon and I  having fun at the Blog World Closing Party with #lavacakes:

And no I did not get sponsored for this. I am really fond of my #latism hermano Ramon! So I will disclose that I might not have tried #lavacakes if it was some other Dominos dude at the party. So hope this complies with FTC friend’s disclosure requirements.

I’ll be back to homemade next week. but I think there is no shame in a yummy store bought dessert served with love! Check out the #Sabrossosaturday recipe linky because you can cook these great bloggers’ recipes all week long. Lots of chocolate this week, yum!

Do you have any store bought yummies that you serve?
